(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 24 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development (SCPD) Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, chaired Sunday the council's sixth meeting of the second session for 2019.
The council discussed the articles of the draft law for Silk City project, which is a key pillar of New Kuwait vision 2035, the Council said in a statement.
The project aims to draw private sector investment, provide an attractive environment for investors from local and international companies, and create jobs for Kuwaiti youth.
Members of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, Minister of State for Economic Affairs Mariam Al-Aqeel, the Secretary-General of the Council Dr. Khaled Mahdi and the Acting Assistant Secretary-General for Council Affairs and Future Foresight Bader Al-Rifai also attended the meeting.
