(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Residents of North and South Batinah and Buraimi have been advised to rationalise their water consumption for next four days on account of maintenance work to be carried out at the desalination plant in Sohar.

Diam (Public Authority for Water ) announced that Sohar Power Company will implement the periodic maintenance of the desalination plant in Sohar from March 25 to 28, 2019. 'Diam has taken all precautionary measures to ensure continuity of water supply to the governorate of North and South Batinah and Buraimi during the maintenance period,' the authority said.

'Diam urges all customers to take necessary measures and to rationalise water consumption,' it further stated.
