Iran inaugurates domestic tourism vessel


(MENAFN) Iran inaugurated its first locally made ferry passenger and tourist ship Saturday night with an aim to see a flourishing tourism sector.

Designed with a passenger capacity of 220, the "Tamaran Top Tours" ship has the competence to take ten cars and eighty tons of products.

People in Kish, Hendurabi and Charak Islands are currently able to receive highly quality services from the tourism vessel, affirmed Managing Director of Arvandan Company Ghorbani.

"The government will throw its heavyweight behind implementation of such projects wholeheartedly," stated Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari.
