Strong magnitude 6.1 earthquake hits Western Colombia


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) A strong earthquake with magnitude of 6.1 has hit Western Colombia, the US Geological Service said, Trend reported citing Sputnik.

According to the agency, the earthquake struck 32 miles (51.5 km) northwest of the city of Tula. The quake occurred at the depth of 70.4 miles (113 km.

There were no immediate reports on any casualties or damage that could have been caused by the earthquake.
