Turkey to disclose agricultural plan soon


(MENAFN) Turkish agriculture and forest minister Bekir Pakdemirli confirmed that the country is set to disclose a national agricultural roadmap in the short term.

Speaking at the eighth Uludag Economy Summit, the minister announced "Turkey's agriculture roadmap for the next 25-30 years is being prepared."

According to the minister, Turkey is revealing the National Unity in Agriculture plan either in April or May.

Pakdemirli added that "we also want to set a forestry target for the year of 2123 [Turkey's bicentennial], we need to pursue this path."
