(MENAFN) Turkish Defense Ministry declared on Saturday that defense minister Hulusi Akar is currently conducting an examination of soldiers along the border with Syria.
Turkish Chief of General Staff Yasar Guler is alongside the defense minister in its inspection with Turkish Land Forces commander Umit Dundar.
According to a Defense Ministry statement, the officials held talks with commanders of forces deployed on the border.
It comes as the country affirmed its rejection of any establishment of a terror cell along its border.
