UK program funds series of health initiatives


(MENAFN) UK's Biomedical Catalyst program delivered financing for several health initiatives seeking to enhance disaster treatment using innovative technology.

On Friday, the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) confirmed USD9.9 million of funds to have been set for nine initial phases of the health projects.

Under the projects, new software will be allowing radiologists to diagnose breast cancer with more effective means.

Fifteen feasibility projects were also granted USD2.6 million from the British Biomedical Catalyst program.
