(MENAFN) On Friday, a civilian and two Daesh terrorists were murdered in Iraq's central province of Salahudin, a provincial police source stated.
Acting on intelligence reports, a paramilitary Hashid Shaabi unit raided in the afternoon a group of Daesh terrorists in Mu'tasim area, around 100 km north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, Mohammed al-Bazi from Salahudin Provincial Police Command informed Xinhua.
The raid caused death to two of Daesh terrorists and pushed the other terrorist to escape the scene, al-Bazi affirmed.
The forces confiscated several arms and ammunition left by the terrorists at the scene, he added.
