(MENAFN- Gulf Times) After 21 games of the 2018-2019 Qatar dart season, Last Samurai were victorious and took the title as Doha Dart League winners. It was a close contest all season and Legacy finished runners-up by a deficit of 14 points.
Last Samurai team member Jon ‘Money Shot' C said, 'This is my first full year as a member of the Last Samurais and to finish it as league champions is a great feeling. However, none of this would have been possible without the contribution of every one of my teammates as this was a true joint effort.
Legacy did not finish the season empty-handed as they won the men's Individual League title, finishing with a five-point advantage. Last Samurai also secured the Ladies Trophy, besides the Mixed League on the last day of the season.
Last Samurai captain Graham ‘The Finisher' Matthews added, 'It is great to achieve three titles in a row, but I'd just like to say thanks on behalf of the league to the outgoing league secretaries, Andy Ford and Craig Robertson, who put a lot of time and effort in making the league the success it is in Qatar. The work behind the scenes mainly goes unnoticed but without it, the smooth running and the enjoyment for many of playing in the Doha Darts League wouldn't happen.
Although the League season is finished, Doha Dart League players have one more chance of individual glory in the singles competition to be played on March 28, where both the men and the women will go all out to be crowned Darts Champion of Qatar for 2018-2019.
