Five biggest WWE superstars who never won the Royal Rumble
21 Mar 2019

Most of the biggest WWE superstars have been given the honor of winning the Royal Rumble and headlining WrestleMania at least once in their lifetime.

However, there have been a few true legends of the business who have not been blessed with such a fate.

Though they are some of the biggest names, a Royal Rumble win was not in their resume. Here's more.

The Big Red Monster never managed to win
Kane

Kane is one of the biggest superstars of all time, and holds quite a few records including the highest number of eliminations in the history of Royal Rumble.

However, the legendary wrestler has never managed to win the event.

It can be because Kane, though extremely popular was generally categorized as a destructive monster, but never someone to have a strong fan-following otherwise.

It is a shame that Randy Savage never won
Randy Savage

'Macho Man' Randy Savage is one of the best WWE superstars and performers of all time, and how he never got a chance to win the Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania will remain beyond us.

When Savage was at his prime in WWE, he faced really tough competition in the form of Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Yokozuna.

Kurt Angle remains with zero Royal Rumble victories
Kurt Angle

Not many WWE wrestlers are as talented as Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle.

But presumably, he was never good enough to win the WWE Royal Rumble.

Angle has remained one of the most technically sound wrestlers in the history of WWE and became a main-event talent as soon as he entered WWE.

His exclusion remains one of the most shocking things.

How did Chris Jericho never win?
Chris Jericho

Y2J is one of the most decorated WWE wrestlers in the history of the company.

He had everything- sound technique, superior on-mic skills, the looks, the flamboyance, but even with all these selling points Y2J never managed a single Royal Rumble win.

He might not have won the match ever because he has had a sporadic presence in the company.

Mick Foley is also without any Royal Rumble win
Mick Foley

Mick Foley is probably one of the most hardcore wrestlers in WWE history, and has been a phenomenally popular figure.

It was his WWE Championship win that won the Monday Night War for WWE.

In 1998, Foley appeared in the Royal Rumble as Cactus Jack, Dude Love, and Mankind, but was eliminated on all three occasions.

He remains with no Royal Rumble win.
