(MENAFN) The Asian Development Bank (ADB) penned the Cofinancing Framework Agreement for Sovereign Operations with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
Under the document signed on Thursday, both sides will be using it as a channel for their future agreements.
This comes as ADB President Takehiko Nakao engaged in talks with AIIB President Jin Liqun to address various strategic and operational concerns.
Both sides, currently, cofinanced five projects that include four sovereign loans in Bangladesh, Georgia, India and Pakistan.
