Back to back blasts kill 6 persons, injured 23 in Kabul


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): Six people were killed and 23 others injured in three back to back blasts in the Kart-i-Sakhi locality of capital Kabul on Thursday, the first day of new solar year 1398 also known as Nawroz, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said.

Nasrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health (MoI), the blasts took place Aliabad Hospital and Kart-i-Sakhi areas.

Wahid Mayar, public health ministry spokesman, on his twitter wrote six bodies and 23 injured had been evacuated to the hospital from the site of blasts.

It is worth mentioning that Nawroz celebration regularly take place in the Kart-i-Sakhi locality annually.

Thirty one persons were killed and 65 others injured in a suicide blast in Kart-i-Sakhi locality last year.
