People in Gaza Strip receive food aid from Turkish charity


(MENAFN) On Thursday, a Turkish humanitarian aid organization has delivered food aid to besieged Gaza Strip.

Istanbul-based Sadakatasi Association sent tomato, cucumber, potato, onion, paprika and chicken for 1,000 poverty-hit families in Gaza, the charity group emphasized.

Situation in the fields of food, health and economy are worsening in the Gaza city, which is home to approximately two million people, the association stated.

Thousands in Gaza are now jobless as many workplaces were closed because of the blockade.
