Oman- Rains expected during weekend


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman will be affected by a trough of low pressure starting from Friday until Saturday with isolated rains over the governorates of Musandam, Buraimi, Dhahirah, North and South Batinah, Met department stated.

'We expect some rains on Friday and Saturday in different parts of the sultanate. Rains will be light to moderate in Musandam, Buraimi, Dhahirah, North and South Batinah. There is also small chance of rain in Muscat too,' a Met official told Muscat Daily.

Weather forecast for Thursday is clear to partly cloudy skies over northern governorates and mainly clear skies over rest of the sultanate with chance of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along the coastal areas of Arabian Sea.

As for Friday, the sultanate will witness clear to partly cloudy skies over northern governorates with chance of isolated rain and mainly clear skies over rest of the sultanate. There is a chance of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along the coastal areas of Arabian Sea, Met department stated.
