MENAFN- Asia Times) A professor at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in Taipei has invented a fully automatic cup noodle machine.
Lin Qi-che, who has spent years in the field of robotics, believed that he could apply unmanned cooking techniques to promote Chinese cuisine at an international level. This prompted him to develop the automated noodle maker, HK01 reported.
The professor said the processes of cooking the noodles, adding soup and adding beef are all automated and do not require the presence of a chef. Customers can place their orders on the machine and even choose how well they want their noodles cooked. It takes only one minute for the machine to make the noodles.
He also added that the machine uses automatic control and smart management systems to ensure the best cooking time and motions for every order. It can even process multiple orders at the same time.
The automated noodle maker only requires manpower when ingredients need refilled. Lin is currently in talks with hospitals and noodle shops to launch 24-hour fully automated noodle making services.
