(MENAFN) Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri confirmed that the country is looking to commence reforms in order to achieve the USD11 billion pledges received in 2018 in Paris.
According to the prime minister, the government is also aiming to accept the fiscal budget to become "realistic" with a target to remove waste.
Hariri affirmed "there is an emphasis on approving the laws related to Cedre and during a few coming months, Cedre reforms will be implemented because now we have consensus among all political parties."
It comes as international countries made pledges to present Lebanon with over USD11 billion of soft loans for infrastructure initiatives.
