Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday Decree No. 11 of 2019 approving the State of Qatar's membership to the Agreement for the Establishment of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IAA) as an international organisation, annexed to this decree, and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
H H the Amir also issued Decree No. 12 of 2019 ratifying the agreement between the governments of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey on avoiding double taxation and preventing financial evasion with regard to income taxes and the attached protocol signed in Trabzon on December 18, 2016, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
H H the Amir issued Decree No. 13 of 2019 ratifying the cooperation agreement in the education field between the governments of Qatar and Turkey signed in Doha on December 2, 2015, annexed to this decree and to have the power of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
H H the Amir also issued Decree No. 14 of 2019 ratifying the agreement on mutual administrative assistance in tax matters, annexed to this decree and to have power of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
H H the Amir issued Decree No. 15 of 2019 ratifying the agreement on cancelling visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, private and official passports between the governments of Qatar and the Argentine Republic signed in Buenos Aires on October 5, 2018, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
The decrees are effective starting from date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
H H the Amir also issued an instrument of ratification approving the agreement on mutual recognition of driver's licence between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the French Republic, signed in Paris on July 6, 2018.
H H the Amir also issued an instrument of ratification approving an agreement between the governments of Qatar and the French Republic on cooperation in the cultural field, signed in Paris on June 23, 2014. H H the Amir issued an accession document approving the State of Qatar's joining of the International Development Law Organization.
