Kuwait SC beats Bahrain's Barbar at Asian handball tournament


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait SC handball team defeated Bahrain's Barbar 27-26 on Wednesday at the 21st Asian Clubs Handball Tournament, which kicked off earlier in the day. Some 13 teams are taking part in the contest, which is currently held at the Kuwait club team.
The Kuwaiti team won the first two points after making an interesting and equivalent game against the Bahraini rivals in the Group B, which includes also Karakh from Iraq and T-sport from India.
Kuwait's Kazma was defeated by Dehail from Qatar 17-37 in the Group D. Sadaqa from Lebanon beat China's Dragon 28-21 in the Group A, while Wakra from Qatar outrivaled Iraq's Jaish 37-21.
National Assembly Speaker and honorary president of the Kuwait club Marzouq Al-Ghanim attended the opener. (end) fr.fsh.hm
