(MENAFN) By Tuesday, 172,046 Syrians who took refuge in Lebanon made it back home, announced the directorate of the Lebanese General Security on Wednesday.
Lebanon "will continue working on the voluntary return of Syrian refugees in coordination with Syrian authorities ... including those who have entered Lebanon in an illegal way," the directorate affirmed.
Syrian authorities already accepted the list of Syrian refugees desiring repatriation, unveiled General Security chief Abbas Ibrahim.
Russia was also affirmed to have come up with a mechanic to ease Syrians repatriation and demonstrated it to Lebanese authorities.
