Amman, Mar. 20 (Petra) -- The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed Wednesday's session with 3.6 million shares traded through 2,244 transactions, with a trading value of JD2.9 million.
The stock index rose compared to the closing of the previous session with a positive change of 0.60 percent at the 1972 point.
When comparing the closing prices of companies with traded shares, 38 witnessed a rise in their share prices, the shares of 33 others declined, while 35 others were stable.
