UK's May rejects long Brexit delay

(MENAFN) British Prime Minister Theresa May rejected having any intention to appeal the European Union (EU) for an extended postponement when she officially asks for a Brexit delay.

UK's prime minister, just like the public, has great "frustration" at Parliament's "failure to take a decision," emphasized Downing Street.

However, Brexit postponement will not exceed June, assured BBC assistant political editor Norman Smith.

This would surely be the "wrong choice" and a "craven surrender to hardliners" in the Conservative Party, stressed a cabinet minister while speaking to the BBC.
