(MENAFN) Syria is committed to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity as shown in welcoming Iraqi and Iranian army officials.
"The Syrian government is determined to maintain its sovereignty and to regain all of its territory," affirmed CSU San Bernardino history professor David Yaghoubian.
It comes after Syrian President Bashar al-Assad hailed ties with Iraq and Syria, saying it became tougher due to anti-terrorism cooperation.
According to the professor, foreign troopers and elements "have sought to destabilize and essentially destroy Syria's territorial integrity."
