(MENAFN) Iraq and Syria explored ways to strengthen and develop industrial cooperation while reviewing potential investment windows.
Discussions were held between Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Saleh Abdullah al-Jubouri and Syrian Ambassador to Baghdad Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah.
An Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals statement unveiled "during the meeting, Minister al-Jubouri affirmed the deep-rootedness of the relations binding Iraq and Syria."
It further added that Al-Jubouri expressed willingness to make efforts and join hands with Syria in a range of industrial areas.
