Over 3,000 Toyota vehicles to be recalled in China

(MENAFN) Japanese automaker Toyota announced recalling 3,643 cars in China over safety concern of run-flat tires.

Following a recall plan the company has filed with the State Administration for Market Regulation, the recall will include 2,396 imported Lexus LS500h made between June 14, 2017 to July 18, 2018, and 1,247 imported Lexus LS350 produced between Nov. 23, 2017 to July 18, 2018.

The affected vehicles featured run-flat tires, which were not installed on the wheel hubs properly, and might lead to irregular noise or vibration of the vehicles.

The company said that it will replace the defective tires free of charge.
