China to implement new measures for boosting trade this year

(MENAFN) A senior official announced that China will take a set of measures to support foreign trade this year amid increased uncertainty.

Assistant Commerce Minister said the country's foreign trade development is enduring a more complicated and harsh environment with greater uncertainty and more risks and challenges.

But it "has the foundation and necessary conditions to achieve its target of keeping foreign trade stable while improving its quality" this year, he added.

Authorities will ensure detailed implementation of current trade policies and steadily push the drive to build China into a major trader power.
