Doha: Within Rehabilitation and Vocational Program, Best Buddies Qatar-Shafallah Center and Trimoo Parks have signed a cooperation agreement.
The objectives of this partnership are to promote the rights and abilities of persons with disabilities, being an asset and integral particles of the community alongside with persons without disabilities.
Accordingly, under the agreement, three Best Buddies Qatar and three Shafallah Center members will be trained and employed at Trimoo Parks in the beginning of this collaboration with further expansion.
Laalei Abu Alfain, Managing Director of Best Buddies Qatar and Acting Executive Director of Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, said: 'We are glad to have this opportunity to employ the members with disabilities at Trimoo Parks to help them succeed in fulfilment of their social, labour rights and professional and personal development.
'Persons with disability have talents and skills, which can contribute to the community and provide independence in their life. We express the gratitude to Trimoo Parks for supporting Best Buddies Qatar-Shafallah Center mission to enhance life of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities through integrated employment and socialization.

After signing ceremony, Laalei Abu Alfain and Ali Mohammed Khalifa Al Attia visited the members from Best Buddies Qatar and Shafallah Center in Human Recourses and Finance Departments of Trimoo Parks and held a discussion with each of them about their progress, achievements and enthusiasm during trainings.
