Indonesia: helicopter crashes wounding 4 people


(MENAFN) The rescue agency declared that 4 people have been injured after a chopper crashed in Tasikmalaya district of Indonesia's West Java province Saturday afternoon.

The leader of communication for media of national search and rescue office Yusuf Latief confirmed that the helicopter with registration number BO-105 PK EAH plunged down at around 2:30 p.m. Jakarta time in Jayaratu village.

Latief added: "The pilot suffers from minor injury, but three other people on board, including a co-pilot and two passengers have serious wounds. No one was killed in the incident."

All of the injured have been taken to a nearby hospital, according to Latief.
