China's Pinduoduo sees surge in 2018 revenue growth


(MENAFN) China's social e-commerce giant Pinduoduo has recorded a robust revenue growth last year, over Chinese consumers' increasing demand for online interactive shopping.

The company's revenues reached 13.12 billion yuan last year, up 652 percent from the previous year.

Online marketing services were reported as the biggest revenue contributor, growing 852 percent year on year to 11.5 billion yuan.

Meanwhile, its gross merchandise volume (GMV) in 2018 reached 471.6 billion yuan, up 234 percent year on year.
