Amman, Mar. 15 (Petra) -- Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Sufian Qudah has announced that a Jordanian man was killed and 8 others (Jordanians) were injured after a gunman rampaged through two mosques in New Zealand, killing and injuring dozens of Muslim worshippers who were performing the Friday prayers.
The official told Petra that the ministry's operations center and the Jordanian embassy in Australia were following up with concerned authorities in New Zealand to check on the medical condition of the injured Jordanians.
