(MENAFN) Iraq is aiming to strengthen its bilateral ties with Saudi Arabia and expand their cooperation on a range of domains.
This comes following talks between Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and Saudi Minister of Commerce and Investment Majid Al-Qasabi alongside a Saudi delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides addressed bilateral relations along with means to bolster cooperation in different areas.
Abdul Mahdi confirmed that "Iraq attaches importance to the strategic relations with the kingdom and the policy of opening to neighboring countries pursued by the Iraqi government."
