Turk Eximbank, ICBC ink USD350 loan deal


(MENAFN) Turk Eximbank penned on Monday a bilateral term loan facility deal with China's Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Turkey valued at USD350 million.

Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan highlighted the significance of the agreement for efforts to strengthen resources and achieve diversification.

According to the minister, "this is important to find new sources of financing for our exporters and to be able to support them more."

ICBC Turkey chairman Xiangyang Gao stated "this transaction clearly demonstrates ICBC's strong confidence and commitment to the Turkish banking sector and the Turkish economy."
