Doha, March 4 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Social Development and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DIGS) on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the academic research field.
The MoU, which was inked in Doha by Minister of Social Development Basma Ishaqat, and DIGS President Yasir Suleiman, included several fields of cooperation to bolster relations, and will help develop agreed research fields and relevant scientific activities.
The memorandum included cooperation in the exchange of expertise and academic researchers in the fields of psychology and sociology, setting up summer field training for psychology and sociology students at DIGS, and holding seminars, workshops, and symposiums, as well as other research topics of mutual interest.
It also included providing scientific and vocational consultations for associates of the ministry and its affiliate institutes in the scientific branches that DIGS is specialized in and provides in its various faculties and centers.
