(MENAFN) Egypt commenced the third edition of Sharm El-Sheikh Asian Film Festival (SAFF) in the Red Sea South Sinai province, presenting 58 films made in 26 countries.
Featured films in the massive festival are participating in hopes of winning one of the nine awards granted in five contests.
China is the guest of honor in the festival which saw its opening ceremony held jointly with the Chinese Cultural Center in Cairo.
During the event, the best actress award will be granted in honor of late actress Souad Hosny, with the best actor award to be presented in honor of late actor Ahmed Zaki.
