Venetian carnival of Azerbaijani artists [PHOTO]

Works of Azerbaijani artists have been showcased in Venice.

The event took place at ART Studio Loreta Larkina Gallery, Trend Life reported.

The exhibition was curated by Azerbaijan's world-famous artist Asmar Narimanbayova.

Within the framework of the project called 'Colors without Borders, artists from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Germany, France, Russia, Turkey, Northern Cyprus and Italy presented their works.

The exhibition featured40 paintings by Azerbaijani artists.

The works of incredibly talented artists Asmar Narimanbayova, Rena Amrahova, Vafa Efendizade-Tezjan, Elnara Safarova, Leyla Aliyeva, Aysel Mirkasimova, Nihad Aliyev, Tofik Osmanova, Nigar Familsoy, Sabina Safarova, Roya Hasanova, Gunay Beylarova, Leyla Azimbekova, Jamal Rahmanli,Muzaffe Gencher left no one indifferent.

The theme of the presented works wasfree, but since the exhibition is held during the Venice Carnival, some works reflected this costume festival.

The exposition aroused great interest among the viewers.

A well-known expert of contemporary Italian art, art historian Ives Chelli highly appreciated the paintings of Azerbaijani artists.
