Qatar- WITR aiming to reach global market: CEO


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Love and beauty are at the core of the management philosophy of fine jewellery brand, WITR, which, according to its founder and chief executive officer Reem al-Shamari, aims to further represent Qatar in the international market.
'Teamwork creates wonders. When team members of one company work side by side, they all go forward and bring the brand with them. In WITR's organisational chart, there are no bosses there are only creative directors driven by creativity and inspiration. This is how WITR is managed by love and beauty, al-Shamari told Gulf Times.
Since it was established in 2015, WITR has been a regular participant of the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) and has worked tirelessly to build its name as a jewellery representative for Qatar.
'The most unique identity that we had established in 2015 was the beginning of the story the ‘Eye Print'. What also distinguishes WITR is its fine quality that cannot be compensated. The stones and precious metals have been held to the finest of qualities that responds to the trust and desire of our high-end customers.
'Qatar is an important market for WITR, but we also aspire to be in other markets abroad as the quality and concepts WITR offer have surpassed bigger names in a short amount of time. So, representing Qatar abroad as a Qatari brand will be our next target goal, she said.
Al-Shamari said WITR has been shipping to Kuwait since 2015, but it also aims to reach the European market in the future. Aside from media coverage and social media channels, she noted that participating in the DJWE helps to expose the brand's pieces and collections.
Asked to describe the Qatari woman and what distinguishes her from other clients, al-Shamari said: 'The Qatari woman has a soul that is in endless search for beauty and elegance.
'Her love for jewellery is born with her and she certainly inherited that love from her ancestors, so she'll always seek fashionable jewellery to wear. Qatari women are distinguished by their taste of trendy jewellery, but ones that have a story behind it.
