FORT MYERS, Fla. - Feb. 22, 2019 - PRLog -- New International will hold an evening of entertainment, internationally inspired cuisine, and stories from around the world dedicated to the celebration and support of missionaries globally. Pushing Boundaries Around the World, a fundraising event on Friday, March 15, 2019, is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, located at 2301 First Street in Fort Myers. The festive and inspirational evening will include cocktails outdoors, an informal dinner of delicious foods, and entertainment. An inspiring program and moving stories of missionaries pushing boundaries across the globe will conclude the evening. Guests are encouraged to wear colorful cocktail attire in celebration of strides made around the world in the areas of clean water, extreme poverty relief, food security, and more.

Recording artist Craig Aven, along with a band, will perform at the fundraising event to benefit more than 225 missionaries living in 32 countries and working regularly in 42 different nations. He is passionate about influencing people through music and one of his originals, The Sweetest Gift, has been viewed more than 50 million times and counting. Additionally, he will debut an original piece written specifically for this event.

The guest speaker is Tim Mantai who directs AfricaHope ministries in Narok, Kenya, focusing on church planting, education, orphaned and vulnerable children, food and water security, and health and nutrition. Under his leadership, 40 churches have been started in extremely rural areas of Kenya, and one of the rural elementary schools which started in the bottom 5% of 400 schools, rose to the top 10% based on student scores. Additionally, from 2000-2002 he directed a massive famine relief and drought mitigation program, overseeing 265,000 aid recipients at 110 rural distribution sites.

New International is a mission sending agency transforming lives through initiatives such as poverty alleviation, youth ministry, care of orphans, helping victims of human trafficking, church planting, farming and agriculture, and the Gospel message.
