Saudi Maaden, India sign 2 phosphate agreements


(MENAFN) Two agreements were secured between Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) and Indian companies IPL Co. and KRIBHCO.

Under the USD2 billion memorandums of understanding, 5 million tons of phosphate fertilizers will be transferred from Saudi Arabia to India.

The five-year deals were signed during a trip Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman made to India.

It comes while both sides look to strengthen their bilateral relations and cooperation on various areas.
