Venezuela to shut borders with Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao

(MENAFN) Venezuelan Vice President has announced the government's decision to suspend aerial and maritime communications with Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao islands.

He said: "we have decided to make the decision to suspend all types of private and commercial flights and ship traffic to the islands of Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire."

Moreover, the government decided to put the relationship between the cited islands "under review", he added.

The VP said the measure follows "the decision by the Curacao government to serve as a reception center for the alleged forced humanitarian aid."
