(MENAFN) On Wednesday, State Minister for Media Affairs Jumana Ghuneimat proclaimed that a General Intelligence Department major has succumbed to injuries he sustained in last week twin-explosion close to Balqa, northwest of Amman.
Maj. Sa'id al-Theeb was with a security force that wenk quickly to the location of two blasts in a deserted area in Wadi Al Azraq area of Balqa Governorate.
The explosions were caused by hidden explosives which authorities stated they were similar to those used in a 2018 attack in Mahis.
