Saudi Arabia grants contract for chemical plant


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia granted an agreement to Fluor Corporation in the United States for the Kingdom's Halliburton Specialty Chemicals Manufacturing Reaction Plant.

Under the contract, the firm will be offering engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for the Saudi project.

Head of Fluor Simon Nottingham stated: "having completed the front-end engineering design, we are pleased to undertake the design and construction of this major investment that accelerates Halliburton"s strategic expansion of its fast-growing specialty chemicals business."

Nottingham added: "Fluor will use its full integrated solutions portfolio and its local execution capabilities to optimize the design and deliver a capital-efficient project with schedule certainty."
