UAE, Oman discuss business cooperation


(MENAFN) Oman discussed with the UAE potential joint investment and business activities during the Oman-United Arab Emirates (UAE) Economic Forum.

Both sides were looking through the forum to strengthen cooperation between businesses in the two GCC states.

The volume of Omani-UAE joint firms is in continued raise as they reached 2,800 last month, affirmed Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Dr Ali bin Masoud bin Ali al Sunaidy.

Those firms are specialized in various sectors, including manufacturing, energy, water, financial activities, construction, real estate and trade.

During the event, the two countries highlighted their strong relations and willingness to further expand their cooperation in a range of areas.
