(MENAFN- Dubai PR Network) Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 20th February 2019: Dubai Festival City, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate's fully integrated mega project, is now accepting registrations for the Dragon Boat Challenge, set to be held on the 1st and 2nd of March.
The Challenge which will be held at the Marsa Plaza Creek is open for corporates, universities, schools and community groups across the UAE. Each team that registers will be given two one-hour training sessions with an international Dragon Boat Coach and all necessary equipment including the Dragon Boat, paddles and life jackets. Each team can have up to 20 paddlers, of which a maximum of 16 can be male.

The adrenaline-fueled water sport works on the core values of sportsmanship, strategy and technique, while also instilling positive team spirit, good health and having a good time. Winners of the Dragon Boat Challenge will be awarded and recognized by Dubai Festival City.
Alongside the Challenge, visitors can also shop and dine as the two-kilometre Marsa Plaza promenade offers a waterside walking track with easy access to the landmark Dubai Festival City Mall and direct views of Dubai Creek and the cityscape.
The Dragon Boat Challenge is the first in a series of the exciting events and activities planned this year at Dubai Festival City.
