Amman, Feb. 20 (Petra) -- The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Wednesday sent a humanitarian aid convoy to Hebron in the West Bank, donated by the Oman Charitable Organization, in coordination with the Omani and Palestinian embassies in Jordan.

The JHCO has facilitated the convoy delivery to the competent authorities in Hebron, and consists of two trucks loaded with wheelchairs for people with special needs.

JHCO Secretary-General, Ayman al-Mufleh, said the organization is fully prepared to receive in-kind, financial and medical donations for the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, under royal directives to support Palestinians.

Hebron Governor, Jibreen al-Bakri, and Bethlehem Governor, Kamel Hemeid, both expressed their gratitude to Jordan and the JHCO for their continued support.

The JHCO is considered a facilitator that delivers aid from international and local organizations and institutions to Palestine by providing technical and logistical support to ensure that aid is delivered to beneficiaries.
