Singaporean stocks finish at increase


(MENAFN) Singapore finished its trading session on Wednesday at an increase as the Straits Times Index (STI) recorded a 0.57 percent or 18.58 points rise.

Closing at 3,278.38, an overall of 1.35 billion shares were traded while posting around USD828.64 million in the turnover.

Meanwhile, gainers greatly exceeded losers by 249 to stand at 167 by the closing of Wednesday session.

On Tuesday, the Singaporean benchmark STI ended the day at 3,259.8 to record a 0.19 percent or 6.17 points decline.
