DUBAI, Feb 19, (KUNA): Kuwait Disabled Sport Club's athletes won
three gold and two silver medals in the first day of Sharjah international
championship, which opened on Monday with participation of 29 countries.

Al-Mutairi won the 100m wheelchair race for T33 category while teammate
Abdullah Al-Saif won the gold for the 100m wheelchair race for T40 category.
Dhari Buty won the shot put's F37
category, Abdullah Al-Saleh won the bronze in the shot put in the F46 category
and Abdullah Al-Saif the bronze but for the F40 category. Shafi Al-Hajri, head
of Kuwait's delegation to the championship, congratulated the players for their
achievements, and wished more medals would be gained in coming days.
