EU condemns Israeli tax cuts resolution


(MENAFN) Israel was condemned by the European Union (EU) for its resolution to cut tax revenues of the Palestinian Authority (PA).

During an interview with Voice of Palestine, EU Communication Officer Shadi Othman denounced a decision to take away USD138 million from tax revenue.

According to the official, the EU highlighted the necessity of commitment to deals secured between Israel and Palestinians.

Israel, the EU stressed, must avoid making unilateral measures in relation to the deduction or implementing it.
