Health minster visits Totangi Hospital in Amman

Amman, Feb.17 (Petra) -- Minister of Health, Dr. Ghazi Zaben inspected Sunday evening services provided by Dr. Jameel Al Totangi Hospital in south east of Amman, for patients as well as requirements to improve the quality and efficiency of services..

Zabin said the visit comes in the framework of field sudden and programmed visits for all health care institutions throughout the Kingdom.

He added that the ministry is implementing a holistic plan of action to improve health services provided to citizens based on the completion of existing projects for the establishment of hospitals and health centers as well as expanding, developing, modernization, rehabilitating and maintaining existing ones.

He pointed out that developing human resources and improving the working environment are in the heart of the ministry's plan and work program for the next stage.

In this context, he said, incentives for all ministry staff will be increased by 30 percent from the current session, which ends in March.

Zaben toured the hospital's departments, met with citizens, visited patients and checked on their health conditions, the level of service they received and how satisfied they are on services they receive.

During the visit, the minister met with the director of the hospital Dr. Esraa Tawalbeh and its cadres and listened to a brief about services provided to citizens and the numbers of patients and the hospital's needs.
