Bahraini premier praises Kuwait Amir's humanitarian initiatives


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Al Khalifa hailed on Sunday the role and humanitarian initiatives of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, at the regional and global levels.

Bahrain news agency (BNA) said the remarks were made during a meeting between Al-Khalifa and Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain, Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, who handed the Prime Minister an invitation to attend Kuwait's celebrations of its 58th National Day and 28th Liberation Day at the Kuwaiti Embassy.

Al-Khalifa, highlighted the solid longstanding ties binding the two countries and their people, pointing out Kuwait's achievements that are a source of pride to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.

The premier also praised the development strides seen by various fields in Kuwait.

Al-Khalifa noted the progress of the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations at all levels, taking pride in the strength of deep-rooted relations between the two countries. He wished the State of Kuwait further progress and advancement.

For his part, the Kuwaiti Ambassador hailed the Prime Minister's supportive stances toward promoting Gulf relations. (end) hmd.mb
