(MENAFN) On Sunday, Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Secretary-General Saeb Erekat accused Israel and the U.S. of trying to end the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority (PA).
Erekat informed Palestine's radio in an interview, "Israel's intention to cut the PA tax funds is part of the Israeli-American plan that aims at destroying the Palestinian Authority".
Israeli authorities are plotting to cut funds to the PA by the amount it pays to Palestinian prisoners and their relatives.
Erekat stated, "Israel will take this step after it has renounced all the agreements signed with us".
