(MENAFN) As many as nine Saudi soldiers have been murdered in renewed wave of fire from Yemeni fighters of the Houthi Ansarullah movement on military posts south of the kingdom.
On Saturday, Saudi government stated in a statement that the soldiers had been murdered in fights with the Houthis in the southern border regions.
The Saudi military also published pictures of a funeral of one of the soldiers in the al-Ahsa region.
Houthis emphasized that they had caused huge losses of the ranks of the Saudis in attacks on Saudi military positions, adding that fighters had seized several locations in areas east of Jaffan and Jizan regions.
